Welcome To Our Website
AGOURA-WOODLAND HILLS PONY CLUB
AWHPC is a charter member of the United States Pony Clubs (a non-profit organization that teaches horsemanship and the care of the horse to young people through the age of 21) and are part of the Camino Real Region located in Southern California. Like other Pony Clubs, we are an educational organization that teaches riding, mounted sports and the care of horses and ponies. Our goal is to develop the characteristics of responsibility, moral judgment, leadership and self-confidence in our members.
What makes our club different from other Pony Clubs is that we run our own barn and have our own beautiful facilities. We are located in Agoura, California, just outside of Los Angeles Area. Our facilities consist of two acres, a co-op barn consisting of 30 stalls, 2 dressage rings, an enclosed jumping arena, a cross-country course, and adjacent parkland.

MORE about AWHPC
Our AWHPC program has three basic goals for members: riding instruction, development of horse care responsibilities, and participation in various mounted sports. AWHPC's program is unique because its educational programs place equal emphasis on the teaching of riding skills, horse-care fundamentals, and team participation with sportsmanship. From the moment children join AWHPC, they are part of a broad network of activities and educational programs that promote the health and safety of both horse and rider. We are dedicated to developing knowledgeable, competent, responsible, and caring horsepeople.
